PVB Wash Primer (Click for PDF)
BioCoatings PVB Wash Primer is a VOC compliant clear, single-package “reacted” metal primer that will dry in minutes. It has excellent stability in both concentrated and diluted forms and air dries to a clear glossy film of very low color. PVB Wash Primer possesses good adhesion to steel, phosphated steel, galvanized steel, brass, copper, wood, stainless steel and chrome plate. Although designed to enhance adhesion, this coating also functions as a corrosion inhibiting primer for a variety of topcoats and in many cases may afford protection as the sole coating. Traditional wash primers have generally employed zinc chromate as the anti-corrosive pigment. Due to toxicity concerns associated with chromates, alternative anticorrosion pigments are used.

BioCoatings Diamond Coat offers the benefits of lacquer and complies with all Federal and State VOC regulations. Diamond Coat acrylic lacquer coating will dry in minutes to a very flexible film that has a high degree of resistance to chemicals, oils, greases, salt, and UV Light. Diamond Coat may be used to advantage as a decorative metal coating that can be applied to finished and other metal parts that must have good gloss properties and resistance to grease, abrasion and corrosion.
Diamond Coat is also an excellent wood coating for outdoor surfaces where UV Light cannot be tolerated. It is especially suited for decks and outdoor wood furniture that has been previously treated with water based stains that do not hold up under severe weather conditions.
Crystal Coat (Click for PDF)
BioCoatings Crystal Coat is a VOC compliant acetate lacquer coating that will dry in minutes to a very flexible film that has a high degree of resistance to chemicals, oils, greases, salt, and UV Light. Crystal Coat offers superior toughness and hardness when compared to films prepared from other esters or resins.
Crystal Coat can be used to advantage on wood, cloth, plastic, leather, metal, fiberboard and glass. The outstanding oil, moisture and weather resistance of Crystal Coat make it an ideal wire and cable lacquer.
Crystal Coat may be used to advantage on ignition cables and other specialized wiring that must have good electrical properties and resistance to grease and abrasion.
Crystal Coat is also an excellent tire and rubber dressing that can be used in body and tire shops and for applications where silicone cannot be tolerated.
