BioCoatings Environmental Solvents
BioCoatings environmentally friendly solvents are blends of "Biomass Life Cycle Solvents" (biomass alcohol and Soy bean derivatives) and other environmentally safe solvents that meet and often exceed the regulations and standards established by the Clean Air Act, the California South Coast Air Quality Management Board and the Ozone Transport Commission region of states in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
These solvents are suitable for all applications where eco-friendly “green” products are desired.
One Plus Green (Click for PDF)
One Plus Green is a proprietary VOC compliant solvent-plasticizer combination that is very effective in applications requiring solvent solutions of various resins; Acrylics, Epoxies, Vinyls, Siloxanes, Epoxy/Siloxanes, Polyvinyl Butryl, Phenolics, Cellulose Acetate Butyrate, Cellulose and many more. Most resins are solubilized very rapidly and the applied films dry very quickly.
One Plus Green is non-toxic and is not regulated by the Department of Transportation.
Products incorporating the patented One Plus Green technology have obtained environmental approval from the California South Coast Air Quality Management Board and the Ozone Transport Commission region of states in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, as environmentally acceptable.
Tests have shown superior performance to water based systems.
• VOC compliant
• Improved viscosity
• No residual odors
• Improved wetting
• Improved adhesion and penetration
• Faster drying times
As a Plasticizer:
• Eliminates potentially hazardous plasticizers
• FDA approved for food contact
• All in one package – Economical
• Increases all film property advantages - Gloss, Wetting,
Viscosity and Flexibility.
• Environmentally Safe - derived from natural biomass

BioCoatings 100 Plus Green Solvent is slower drying than One Plus Green and is designed for use when a tail solvent is required to lengthen dry times of coatings.
Our Biomass Life Cycle Solvents are produced under U.S. patents 5,112,516; 5,393,451; and 5,498,805.
