Applied to freshly placed and finished concrete surfaces VOC compliant BioCoatings Tarkseal creates a vapor seal that retains moisture for proper curing. It provides early rainfall protection and resistance to abrasion and staining and will protect against spalling, dusting, efflorescence, freeze-thaw damage, and alkali degradation.
Tarkseal can also protect food preparation areas from food and beverage stains and will protect slabs in garages and parking facilities from grease and oil penetration.
Siloxanes
BioCoatings Silox products are VOC compliant emulsions that deeply penetrate and chemically bond with surfaces of above grade vertical and horizontal substrates. The products are engineered to seal out moisture while remaining highly vapor permeable by forming a hydrophobic barrier beneath the surfaces of brick, plaster, natural stone concrete, block, and other masonry surfaces. The benefits include enhanced resistance to efflorescence, mildew growth, corrosion, scaling, spalling, surface erosion, cracking, salt and other costly damage to hard surfaces. BioCoatings Silox products will not produce a surface film or impair the natural breathing characteristics of treated surfaces and will not darken most color sensitive surfaces.

Silox W is VOC compliant water based siloxane/silane impregnating sealing compound for masonry designed to form a hydrophobic barrier beneath the surface. Silox W penetrates into the pores and capillaries of cement based materials and reacts with the moisture and chemicals in the substrate, polymerizing and sealing the pores which prevents water, chemical and chloride ion penetration.
Silox W is engineered for bridges, parking structures, athletic stadiums, highways and for above grade vertical and horizontal substrates including: concrete, brick, block, plaster, natural stone and other masonry surfaces. Surfaces treated with Silox W have a totally natural appearance. It will not darken most color sensitive surfaces and will not produce a surface film or impair the natural breathing characteristics of treated surfaces.

Silox S is a VOC compliant solvent based Siloxane water repellent for masonry engineered for above grade vertical and horizontal substrates. It demonstrates deep penetration into a variety of absorbent mineral building materials and is suitable as an impregnating agent for fresh concrete, plaster, calcium silicate brick and highly alkaline surfaces. Surfaces treated with Silox S have a totally natural appearance that shows no change resulting from product application. Silox S can also be used to advantage as a primer for silicone based masonry paints.

Silox SAC is a solvent based VOC compliant combination Siloxane/Acrylic impregnating masonry sealer with a gloss finish. Silox SAC chemically bonds with the substrate forming a hydrophobic barrier beneath the surface that seals out moisture while remaining highly vapor permeable. The product demonstrates deep penetration into a variety of absorbent mineral building materials and is suitable as an impregnating agent for fresh concrete, plaster, calcium silicate brick, including highly alkaline surfaces.
